As part of its ongoing commitment to workplace safety and continuous process improvement, Fratelli Temponi chose to rely on Smart Track, recognizing our Connected Worker ecosystem as an advanced IoT technology capable of significantly enhancing operational safety standards, even in the most challenging industrial environments.

 

Our project involved a tailored implementation of two of our core solutions across three production sites, including ATEX-certified environments.

Both systems are fully integrated into the SmartStudio web application, where events are displayed in real time on digitalized maps, streamlining emergency response and rescue workflows. A concrete step forward in industrial safety.

The solution is modular, scalable, easily integrable with existing enterprise systems, and fully compliant with current data protection and privacy regulations.

Thanks to the WeTAG wearable device, equipped with integrated inertial sensors, every critical event is detected and transmitted in real time.

Indoor: event geolocation is performed via BLE Anchors, enabling reliable emergency detection even in complex or multi-level industrial areas.
Outdoor: event geolocation is determined using GNSS technology.

🌀 Trail Mate System
Advanced Worker Safety in Confined Spaces

Designed to ensure the safety of maintenance personnel operating in confined spaces or in work areas located beneath large machinery, the system leverages a proprietary wireless network that remains operational even in the absence of external connectivity.

The system enables:

  • detection of Man Down and SOS alarm events

  • rapid forwarding of emergency alerts outside the confined area via a BLE mesh network

This project reinforces the importance of investing in advanced technological solutions to raise safety standards, protect those who work daily within industrial facilities, and foster a proactive corporate culture in risk management.
